ED CELL : NISP – CRISP

The National Innovation and Startup Policy (NISP) 2019 for students and faculty of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) is a guiding framework to enable the institutes to actively engage students and faculty in innovation and entrepreneurship related activities.

Our College, in the spirit of NISP, has formulated the institute’s innovation and startup policy, CTTE Regulatory Innovation and Startup Policy (CRISP), which will be instrumental in leveraging the potential of students’ problem solving & entrepreneurial mind-set and promoting a strong intra and inter-institutional partnerships.

Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Govt. of India has established ‘MHRD’s Innovation Cell (MIC)’ to systematically foster the culture of Innovation amongst all Higher Education Institutions (HEIs).

The primary mandate of MIC is to encourage, inspire and nurture young students by supporting them to work with new ideas and transform them into prototypes while they are in their formative years.

MIC has envisioned encouraging creation of ‘Institution’s Innovation Council (IICs)’ across selected Higher Education Institutions (HEIs).

A network of these IICs will be established to promote innovation in the Institution through multitudinous modes leading to an innovation promotion eco-system in the campuses.

Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India programme ‘UNNAT BHARAT ABHIYAN’ aiming to connect the higher educational villages around, for transfer of knowledge to enrich rural lndia. 6th March, 2018 has launched a institutions to the The primary objectives of Unnat Bharat Abhiyan are to engage the faculty and students of Higher Educational Institutions in understanding rural realities; identify and select existing innovative technologies, customise and implement as per local needs; to allow the institutions to contribute to devise systems for smooth implementation of various government schemes. 

Swachh Bharat

A clean India

A clean India would be the best tribute India could pay to Mahatma Gandhi on his 150 birth anniversary in 2019,” said Shri Narendra Modi as he launched the Swachh Bharat Mission at Rajpath in New Delhi. On 2nd October 2014, Swachh Bharat Mission was launched throughout length and breadth of the country as a national movement. The campaign aims to achieve the vision of a ‘Clean India’ by 2nd October 2019. The Swachh Bharat Abhiyan is the most significant cleanliness campaign by the Government of India. Shri Narendra Modi led a cleanliness pledge at India Gate, which about thirty lakh government employees across the country joined. He also flagged off a walkathon at Rajpath and surprised people by joining in not just for a token few steps, but marching with the participants for a long way.
