Conference on De-dollarization and Trade Crashes: Strategic Market Risks and Corporate Adaptation

27.09.2025

About the Conference

The global economy is changing significantly. Recently, there has been a growing move toward de-dollarization. De-dollarization refers to the decreasing use of US dollars in world trade, financial transactions, and foreign exchange reserves, notably in US Treasury Bonds. This change in economic power, along with rising trade disruptions, economic sanctions, and supply chain issues, creates various economic risks that need careful examination to reshape the global economy and markets.

This conference will gather academicians, industry leaders, legal experts, and students to explore the economic, legal, technological, financial, business, and socio-political aspects of these global trends. By uniting top experts from around the world, the conference hopes to promote collaboration, share knowledge, and inspire new solutions. It aims to provide fresh insights into current issues such as alternative currency systems, developing new economic policies, geopolitical implications, the response of the Reserve Bank of India, the role of BRICS in ending dollar dominance, and the effects on different economies and sectors.

Objectives

  • To critically examine the trends, reasons, and prospects of de-dollarization in trade, investment, and global governance.
  • To reveal vulnerabilities tied to dollar dependence and the importance of international regulations for stability and security in global trade.
  • To learn how de-dollarization affects our nation’s progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals.
  • To investigate how countries can reassert control over their own currencies and monetary policies, reducing reliance on US dollars.
  • To explore the systemic risks posed by sudden dollar shifts that lead to international financial and social inequality.
  • To evaluate monetary, legal, and technical pathways toward a diversified global financial system.
