Conference on Balancing Green Innovation With Digital Sustainability

06.02.2026

Conference Objectives

  • To foster dialogue between technologists, environmentalists, social
    scientists, and policymakers
  • To critically evaluate digital tools in sustainable development contexts
  • To showcase research, case studies, and policy innovations aligning
    digital transformation with green ethics
  • To promote cross-sector collaboration for low-carbon digital
    infrastructures
  • To inspire student, faculty, and industry-led initiatives contributing to
    environmental sustainability through technology

Conference Theme

This international conference explores the intersections of green innovation
and digital sustainability through the lens of the United Nations Sustainable
Development Goals (UNSDGs), particularly:

  • SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy)
  • SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure)
  • SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities)
  • SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production)
  • SDG 13 (Climate Action)

We aim to examine how disruptive technologies—such as AI, IoT, blockchain, and quantum computing—can serve both environmental resilience and technological responsibility. The conference will also reflect on the risks of digital overconsumption, e-waste, and energy-intensive computation, asking: Can innovation be sustainable by design?
