The National Innovation and Startup Policy (NISP) 2019 for students and faculty of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) is a guiding framework to enable the institutes to actively engage students and faculty in innovation and entrepreneurship related activities.
Our College, in the spirit of NISP, has formulated the institute’s innovation and startup policy, CTTE Regulatory Innovation and Startup Policy (CRISP), which will be instrumental in leveraging the potential of students’ problem solving & entrepreneurial mind-set and promoting a strong intra and inter-institutional partnerships.
Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Govt. of India has established ‘MHRD’s Innovation Cell (MIC)’ to systematically foster the culture of Innovation amongst all Higher Education Institutions (HEIs).
The primary mandate of MIC is to encourage, inspire and nurture young students by supporting them to work with new ideas and transform them into prototypes while they are in their formative years.
MIC has envisioned encouraging creation of ‘Institution’s Innovation Council (IICs)’ across selected Higher Education Institutions (HEIs).
A network of these IICs will be established to promote innovation in the Institution through multitudinous modes leading to an innovation promotion eco-system in the campuses.
