About us

Institution's Innovation Council

The objective is to nurture and encourage innovation and entrepreneurship among college students and to serve as a platform enabling students to envision, create, experiment and implement their ideas. There have been a plethora of ideas from the student community in our college and it is vital to harvest and transcend them from the blackboard to a working prototype.

FOCUS

  • To create a vibrant local innovation ecosystem
  • Establish Function Ecosystem for Scouting Ideas and Pre-incubation of Ideas
  • Develop better Cognitive Ability among the Students
  • Prepare Institute for Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements Framework (ARIIA)
  • Start-up / entrepreneurship supporting Mechanism

FUNCTIONS

  • To conduct various innovation and entrepreneurship-related activities prescribed by Central MIC in time bound fashion.
  • Organize Hackathons, idea competition, mini-challenges, etc. with the involvement of industries.
  • Create an Institution’s Innovation portal to highlight innovative projects carried out by institution’s faculty and students.
  • Network with peers & national entrepreneurship development organizations.
  • Organize periodic workshops / seminars / interactions with entrepreneurs, investors, professionals & create a mentor pool for student innovators.
  • Identify and reward innovations and share success stories.
