2022-2023: Student Achievements – Sports

Ms.J Jagadeeswari from II B.Sc.Psychology has represented the College in various Athletics events, as follows:

• J Jagadeeswari represented the College in the Open Junior State Meet held at Krishnagiri from August 17 to 20 2022.
• She represented the College in the Kalaignar Memorial International 21 Kilometers Marathon held on 07^th Aug 2022.
• She secured First place in 5000 meters track event at the Chennai District Athletics Meet , held from September 22 to 23,
• She represented the college in the State Meet held at Tiruvannamalai from October 16 to 29,2022.
• She secured Third place in the Modern Madras 10 Kilometers Marathon held on November 06,
• At the APL Athletics Meet held on November 15,2022, she secured Second place in 1500 meters track event.
• At the Path for Pathless Run held on November 17,2022, she secured Second place in the 10,000 meters track event.
• She secured Second place in 5000 meters track event.,at the A.L. Mudaliar 54^th Athletic Meet organized by the University of Madras at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium from December 19 to 23, 2022.
• At the Chennai Runners held on January 08, 2023, she secured Second place in the 21 Kilometers marathon.
• She secured Second place in the 10,000 meters track event.in the Athletic meet organized by Kauvery hospital on January 29,
• At the 7^th Dr. N.R. Dhanapalan Athletic Meet 2022-23 organized by Annai Violet Arts and Science College on February 10, 2023 ,she represented our college.
• She secured First place in the 3 kilometers Mini Marathon conducted by Arasanga Pokkuvarathu Uzhiyar Sangam-CITUon 12^th Feb 2023 .

Ms. R.P. Kanishri I B.Com (General) has represented the College in various Chess tournaments, as follows:

• R.P. Kanishri secured Third place in the Grandmaster tournament held from June 12 to 22 2022.
• She secured First place in the Chennai District Chess tournament held on May 2 ,
• She represented our college in the Adyar Times FIDE Rated Open Chess Tournament held from September 29 to October 2,
• She secured Second place in the National Chess Championship held from November 31 to December 04,
• She Volunteered at the 44^th Chess Olympiad organized by the Federation International des Echecs in Chennai from July 28 to August 10 ,2022 and received the Best Volunteer certificate.
