The Department came into existence in 2016 and offers a full-fledged two year Post Graduate programme in Social Work with three specializations such as Medical & Psychiatric Social Work, Human Resource & Management and Community Development & Empowerment. The curriculum has three important components – theory, fieldwork and research.
The Master of Social Works, Postgraduate programme, at minimum requires the applicant to have obtained the pass percentage and completed, any undergraduate degree programme.

This Section details the different courses undertaken, over a period of Four Semesters to complete the Master Of Social Works – Postgraduate Program.
The courses are of the following varieties, Core papers that are mandatory, Electives that can be chosen from list of available electives and Laboratory practicals if applicable. Semester I
By the end of the course, students will be able to
