The Department of Business Administration participated in the Harmony Awards 2K26, organised by JCI Chennai Harmony, on 4 July 2026 at Anna Centenary Library, Kotturpuram, Chennai. The programme served as a significant platform for fostering industry–academia collaboration by bringing together eminent personalities from government, industry, academia, and social organisations to recognise excellence, promote leadership, and encourage social responsibility.
The event commenced with a formal welcome address, followed by the felicitation of distinguished guests. The programme featured keynote addresses by eminent speakers, interactions with industry leaders and academicians, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony, the Harmony Awards presentation, and a group photograph. The deliberations highlighted the importance of ethical leadership, professional excellence, institutional partnerships, and community engagement in addressing contemporary societal and professional challenges.
The visit offered students an enriching experiential learning opportunity to interact with accomplished professionals, industry experts, academicians, entrepreneurs, and public officials. These interactions enabled participants to gain practical insights into leadership, organisational practices, corporate ethics, innovation, and the evolving expectations of the professional world. The programme also enhanced students’ understanding of career opportunities, industry requirements, and the significance of lifelong learning, collaboration, and responsible citizenship.
The Industry–Academia Interaction Visit was a valuable academic engagement that broadened students’ professional perspectives, strengthened their leadership aspirations, encouraged meaningful networking with experts, and reinforced the importance of industry–institution collaboration in promoting academic excellence, employability, and societal development.
